Anchord

Anchord is a custom After Effects script that converts Bézier paths into data points. It lets you animate shape outlines with precision, control and ease.

About

Anchord is a tool I built together with Lukas Haentjens. It converts any Bézier path in After Effects into dynamic data points that animate with the shape. A fast, precise way to show how something is built.

Designers often use this type of animation to support a case, not the brand itself. It’s a way to highlight construction: how a logo is drawn, a custom letter is built, or a grid takes shape. That’s why we call it a case booster. Not made for the brand, but for how you tell the story behind it.

We started building it during late-night Discord sessions. Now it’s a tool we actually use and we’re sharing it to help others do the same.
